The build up of sludge in hot water central heating systems is inevitable, no matter what fuel source is used. Over a period of time this sludge can block pipes and prevent the radiators from distributing heat around your house. Sludge can also seriously affect the efficiency of your central heating system by 5%; it will lead to higher fuel bills and can bring forward the time when you need to replace some or all of the system.
The solution?
remove sludge and scale by power flushing your central heating system. The objective is to restore systems with circulation and boiler noise problems caused by sludge (Magnetite) and corrosion deposits to optimum operation. Power flushing removes these deposits and the problems that they cause.

About Us
Our Engineers use state of the art Power Flushing Machines and have been fully trained in all aspects of Plumbing & Heating. All contractors are registered Plumbing and Heating Engineers with the Gas Safe register. You will receive a receipt/certification stating and showing the power flush has been carried out; the certificate details any routine maintenance and points out potential longer term problems if stated. We use the Vibraclean method to 'eek out' all the rust and magnetite. How its done. Flushing takes place by connecting the ClearFlow power flushing pump into the heating system either across the standard circulatory pump couplings, across the tails of a radiator, or at a practical position on the system. Magna Power Flush.com also connects to the heating system via the flushing pump, a powerful compact magnetic MagnaClean filter. This filter shown dramatically improves the quality of the cleaning process by removing virtually 100% of suspended Iron Oxide and other particulate from the water circulating through the heating system, this can equate to as much as 7kg of dirt from an old 7-10 radiator system. Power flushing takes effect by pumping water through the heating system at a much higher velocity (not pressure) than usual, this in turn loosens and mobilizes harmful corrosion deposits and sludge then suspends them in the rapidly moving water. this process is made more efficient by the adding of specialist cleansing chemicals and reversing the flow of water through the system and each radiator in turn, this creates turbulence to optimize the loosening of the debris. Once these debris are loosened they are collected by the MagnaClean filter and removed safely from the system and property by our operative. At the end of the flushing process, the system contains fresh clean water in line with Building Regulations Part L 2006 and is now ready for a suitable system inhibitor to be added. The Power Flush of a 10 Radiator System will take approximately 4 Hours Magna Power Flush.com use Heavy Duty Chemical Cleaning Products to carryout the power flush and add Central Heating System inhibitor (Like the one shown right) to the heating system at the end of the process to carry on protecting your system from further corrosion and scaling. To comply with BENCHMARK documentation, inhibitors must have passed the DWTA (Domestic Water Treatment Association) product performance standard and can be identified by the logo on the pack *Please note that it is impossible to completely 'sand blast' a heating system back to it's original condition. To do so would require a chemical so powerful it would eat through steel and copper. Not recommended! As a result Magna Power Flush.com recommend that a MagnaClean Professional household filter be installed with every power flush, and with every new boiler installation to provide continual extraction of any partials liberated there after. You will appreciate the need for the filter only 5 minutes after it's installation following a power flush. The fitting of a MagnaClean Professional household filter shall be at an extra cost of £130 when installed with a Power Flush, confirmed at a pre-flush survey visit or phone call.
